What is no win no fee?

The No Win No Fee system was put in place in 1995 to give people access to justice, replacing legal aid. The system was developed to ensure that claimants do not have to pay a fee if they lose their claim, removing their liabilities. Here at Capital Rentals we go one step further and ensure that you will always take home 100% of your compensation*, because if you win, your solicitors fees will be recovered from the other side on top of any compensation awarded.

How much compensation am I entitled to?

It all depends on the extent of the injuries you have suffered, average compensation claim ranges anywhere from £1,500 to £10,000. Serious or persistent injuries are substantially more.

Other factors such as loss of earnings and out of pocket expenses are also recoverable. Call us and a member of our claims team will advise you based on the information you provide.

How much will it cost me?

Am I entitled to make a Road Traffic claim?

If you have been injured in a vehicle and it was the fault of another driver, then you are entitled to make a claim for personal injury. All drivers have a duty of care to other users of the road.

Here at Capital Rentals we deal with a wide variety of road traffic accident claims. This includes cars, motorcycles, buses, cyclists and pedestrians. We can also offer advice if the liable party is untraced or uninsured.

All you need to do is provide us with details of the accident and your injury, along with the details of the vehicles involved. If you do not have these, then a police reference number will be sufficient. We will assess the claim and provide you with the best possible advice, before you speak to one of our Solicitors.

Can passengers claim?

If you were a passenger in a vehicle and you were injured, then you are able to make a claim. The driver of a vehicle has a duty of care towards the passengers and should always put their safety first.

Accident caused by friend/family, can I claim?

If you were involved in an accident caused by a friend or family member you can still make an accident claim. The person who caused the accident will have car insurance. The main reason for this insurance is to provide compensation to anyone who suffers injuries or loss due to the fault of the driver. By law all drivers have to have insurance so your claim will be sent across to the insurer of the driver accountable for the accident.

Do I have to pay for the hire car?

You don't have to pay a single penny for the car hire, or repair. All costs are recovered from the third parties insurance company after-all why should you be out of pocket for something that wasn't your fault? Capital Rentals aim to get you on the road quickly, smoothly and with as little stress as possible.

What kind of car will I receive?

Our like-for-like scheme means you will receive a car similar to the one that has been damaged or lost. It is likely it will be similar in engine size and the number of seats, but may not be the same in make or model. Any car supplied will be no older than three years old. Where necessary it may be possible for you to have a larger or completely different vehicle.

What kind of vehicles do you provide?

The car hire scheme is applicable to any type of motor vehicle. This therefore includes motorcycles, transit vans, HGV and any other vehicles which can be covered by motor insurance.

How quickly can I get a hire car?

Once you agree to the service, our hire car operators aim to contact you within the first hour. In most cases clients receive their hire care within four hours of the initial call, getting you back on the road in no time.

Will my insurance premiums be affected?

No, if you have been involved in an accident which is not your fault your insurance premiums will not be affected as costs will be recovered from the third party's insurance. The entire process will therefore not cost you a penny.

My car needs recovering and repairing, can Capital Rentals arrange this?

Yes, here at Capital Rentals we will ensure that your damaged vehicle is recovered promptly. We aim to ensure that all the repairs are carried out by qualified engineers. As part of our service, we endeavor to limit the impact a road accident can have on your life.
